Dafi Kühne created this bold typographic poster for an exhibition of the work of 36 nominees for art grants from the city of Zurich in 2021. “How do you fit 36 names on a poster?,” he asks on his website. “Make them big!” The poster was printed by the designer and many helpers in 23 runs over 7 days in his studio, mainly using laser-cut MDF and some metal type. The poster won him 3 awards: the STA-100, Tokyo TDC 2022, and TDC NYC 2022.
